I know what you're thinking if you've visited
Chief Thundercloud's All Things Scouting Site
before.....
WHAT HAPPENED ?????
Well, if you have been here before, you know that this
site was getting slower with the addition of "more stuff".
Hopefully, this will make it more streamlined and
accessible.
Everything that was here before, is still here. In fact,
there's even more stuff than before. The Scouting Clipart
is still here as you can see. There's a new link to the
Thunderfund$ website, where you'll find fresh ideas for
fundraisers for your Unit.
I have the same audio of the GingGangGoolie song
(which all Scouts throughout the world do NOT know
by the way - I tested that theory), and Lord
Baden-Powell's Message to Scouts audio. I'll be adding
more ausio later, so check back often.
Next, I created some links to Scouting sites which I find
quite useful. The national sites that we all use are now
in one place. My Troop is in the Southeast Wisconsin
Council, so I do have some links to our Districts' and
Council's websites.
The Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leaders Virtual
Handbooks you may find incredibly useful.
There are some links to commercial products on this page
as well. Again, check out the Thunderfund$ site to see
why I have them here. Ooh, don't forget to shop at
Chief Thundercloud's General Store - the only place in
the universe where you can purchase a Genuine Chief
Thundercloud apparell.
Next you'll find some links to one of Scouting's best
kept secrets - the advanced training opportunities of
Lord Baden Powell University, Woodbadge,
Powderhorn and the Philmont Training Center. I'd
highly recommend you take these training sessions in the
order I listed them.
You'll find some links to some of the happenings for my
Troop 507, including the link to my Geocaching website.
If you don't know about Geocaching, then you
certainly need to check that site out!
I rarely plug any particular product or service, but I will
plug the source of this website: Homestead. This site
was created with it's Sitebuilder software. It's perhaps
the easiest and most versatile web builder available. The
cost is incredibly reasonable If your unit does not have
a website of your own, free from ads - check out
Homestead via the link on this site. Yeah I do get a
commission if you must know.
I have a bunch of links to Scouting Forms. I scour the
web and link away. My plan is to include more, so
again, bear with me. Merit badges are easy to check
from here as well as the Youth Protection Training that
we all love.
This will only apply to the folks in my Council, but
there's a list of all the Packs and Troops with a
website in the Southeast Wisconsin Council (that I could
find).
Add this website to your favorites and check back often!
